Re: Here\'s a good one for ya...PokerStars Special
Big deal, so you lost with AA. PT says I win with AA about 78% of the time, which means losing with AA happens fairly often. It was a $10+1 tourney, and if you can't handle a bad beat at that level, you may want to think about dropping down to play money.
Also, you can avoid really bad beats by lining your hat with aluminum foil. |

"There is no drama- we know the outcome.
There is no lesson to be learned, unless you are suggesting that a particular site is rigged. You may think that misery loves company, but you are wrong. I don't want to share in your misery. I don't think anyone else does. They represent a loser mentality. People that think they only lose when they get unlucky and win purely due to their skill generally are losing players. Do you think that you are ever going to get people to game when they have no chance of making the best hand? How often do you expect people to be all in and drawing dead? Everytime I see someone post a bad beat story, I think "I would like to play against them. Clearly they are tiltable if they post these stories to strangers a day later on a message board. I would be so much fun to out draw them, tilt them, then out play them" -rabidfireweasel on bad beats |

Re: Here\'s a good one for ya...PokerStars Special
I'm confused about the rigging.
Are they rigging it so AA loses? I thought they only rigged it so the weaker players win more. Obviously they must KNOW who the weak players are. AA ALWAYS wins for weak players. The fact that YOU lost with AA must mean you are not a weak player. Reading your original post, I immediately assumed you were a weak player (conspiracy theorists usually are). Given this evidence, however, it is clear that you are not. |

While we're south of the border, I think a Jefe would fit in nicely.

Don't know if I'd call it exactly crying. I'd prefer to call it venting a bit, DUDERAMA :>

Thanks Rush. It's hard to explain. It's very intuitive and very real.

***OK here\'s the deal***
There have been a handful or so of you that I think really understand what I'm trying to convey here. However, the majority of the forum I feel has misunderstood the context of this thread.
Let me get a couple of things straight, please. First of all I DO NOT THINK POKERSTARS CHEATS. Nor am I complaining of this bad beat or any of them "with respect" of being sucked out on or anything to do with my opponents play. I was thrilled when I saw him overcall with KQs to a flop of Qxx (rainbow) with my other opponent already calling all-in with AQ. We all know that their mistakes are what we capitalize on long term. I just think it happens far more than it should at this particular site, that's all. My opinion is based on my own experiences and those fellow players that I know also play there and multiple sites. Kind Regards, KC |

AA was just used as the most current exmple, not to be isolated. Please see my thread above "OK here's the deal".

Re: ***OK here\'s the deal***
I was just giving you the buisness dude. Post a bad beat or worse, a conspiracy theory in this room you'll get some of that. Now you say that wasn't your point, your point was "I just think it happens far more than it should at this particular site" I really can't see the difference.
anyways, you're not a bad guy. It might be easier for everyone involved to let it go and move on. |
