I'd be in for something in the 15-20range

I like this idea NOn. But does it have to be a set number. 25 to 30 is not realistic for me, starting school this week and all.

what if everyone set there own hours, would that work?
I personally im looking to get 15 to 20 hours a week in as well.

No

I was waiting to see who all signs up.

Since it will be a sort of weekly challenge I think it makes sense to wait until the beginning of next week to start it up, allowing us to easily go week to week (mon-sun or sun-mon)

This works out well for me also since I won't be able to get in enough hours this week anyway.

This is not intended to replace anything. It's meant to be quite different.

this one will geared more to the player who wants to put in a consistent level of hours each week. I'm thinking 30 but 25 may be right for more people.

and that's the challenge, not to see if you canput in a ton of hands or have one really good week but instead consistently put in the 25-30 hours each week.

[/ QUOTE ]

NC, this is a really great idea! Having a goal for minimum weekly hours is +EV.

One caveat... One of the benefits of online poker play is the ability to play where ever and when ever you want. For some people, psychologically, the pressure to put in hours for a contest/challenge may be -EV (for others challenges are +EV). Just something to monitor! (Know thyself)

I will make a post this weekend and send out some PM's about getting started.

How would everyone feel about making into a season type competition complete with standins based on performance.
