depending on how many players yes. HOWEVER, you have proper odds to go/call all in with AA preflop. Most people show an 80%-90% win avg with AA in limit. I am not sure what this stat is in NL.

I think what your "friend" is refering to is in heads up AA vs other pocket pair or suited/unsuited connectors. The other pocket pair or suited/unsuited connectors is approx a 4:1 dog. Which means the AA will hold up 4 out of 5 times.

Perhaps your "friend" misunderstood what 4:1 actually means.

I dont think you get the question. The odds of you winning an all in- hand with AA are generally 82% but the odds of winning four times in a row with odds of 82 percent is probably below 50 isnt it?

Ahhh, ok. Yes you're right.

0.8 * 0.8 * 0.8 * 0.8 = 0.4096 approx. 41%

If you got aces 4 times in a row, and after winning all 4, you said "Wow, they held up 4 times, what is the chance of that" then yes, you have about a 42% chance of that happening.

However,

Lets say you got aces 3 times in a row, and won all three. Then lets say that you get aces again on the 4th hand. Your chances are still 82% to win that hand.
