I don't remember what chapter it's in, but Ed has a very succinct line arguing against people who think they can make more money playing against better players who don't chase as much.
Something like: "If you're not winning money in particular game, it's not because your opponents are making too many mistakes. It's because you are." Anyone have the exact quote? I don't have the book with me right now and I'd like to quote it to someone on another board.

page 18. You nailed it almost exactly.
If you're not winning money in particular game, it's not because your opponents are making too many mistakes. It's because you are. I also like the quote a little further down in that page Be glad that your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.
