Default What to do in January?

I'm graduating this December with a degree in History. In January I will have nothing to do.

I am in the army reserves and will be able to get 2-3 days of work a week. Combined with some poker income, and savings, I will have enough to get by.

I don't plan on seeking additional employment for 3 reasons:

1) I don't want to
2) I should have enough money to get by
3) Starting in July I will have a full-time army contract for 14 months (including possible deployment)

So I ask you OOT, what else should I do with my time?

- I plan to become a fitness machine.
- I plan to read books...maybe figure out the stock market
- I think I'm going to attend some Law classes at the university here too. I'm thinking of doing a law degree and would like to see how it is.

Any other suggestions? I can't really leave town because I need to stay here to do some essential training to get this 14-month contract...otherwise I'd just take whatever money I have and go travelling, but unfortunately that's not really an option.

So I need suggestions for stuff to do. I don't want to be shacked up in front of my computer playing poker all day long. My roommate would also probably get annoyed if I was always at home, and I think I would also start going nuts.

i don't think you understood. i don't plan on seeking any employment.

i'm already getting 2-3 days work per week with the army reserves, and with poker income and savings i don't really need a job.

i just need other stuff to do so i don't go crazy

actually i'm going to be going up to the local mountain (3 hours away) and snowboard as much as i can. this could become dependent on my finances though b/c lift tickets are ~$50 and gas/food will cost probably about another $50

season passes are your friend. at this point, they're prolly still cheap, since the season hasn't started yet.
