Do the math in your head.
Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. And another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10. What is the total? Scroll to the bottom to find out. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ANSWER: Studies have shown that 98% of the population ends up with the number 5000. The math above actually adds up to 4100. Don't believe us? Get out the calculator! |

I dunno, maybe if someone had spoken this to me one line at a time I would have got 5000, but, like many people, I kinda guesstimate before doing actual arithmetic, and seeing 4 1000's and 4 2-digit numbers, 5000 just isn't a tenable answer.

I rattled this off and got 5000, then like 2 seconds later I was like "wait, wtf, thats retarded" and realized it was 4100. I found this pretty interesting.
