Whenever I see a post like this (and let's face it--they come up fairly often, these swan songs), I think of Glengarry Glen Ross.

I think of Dave's (Ed Harris) big exit speech and screaming jag where he gets into it with Ricky freakin Roma and he screams "F@ck YOU!!! F*CK YOU ALL!!! I'M GOING HOME!!!"

But I don't think he ever intended to come back.
