LOL I like Skoal mint or wintergreen. I used to chew Kodak, but that stuff tears up your lips. Ever try Wolf? It sucks, but is cheap. I will always root for a fellow chewer. If I see you on TV with a huge lipper in, you will have my vote for poker player of the year/ever.

[ QUOTE ]

are you sure you're not allowed to spit into a cup at the casinos? you're allowed to drink at the tables, why can't you have a spitter there?

[/ QUOTE ]

I was playing 6-12 hold em at the Borgata last Tuesday, and I had a guy next to me who was dipping and spitting into a coffee cup without any concern from the poker room management.

I didn't say whether or not the Casino allows spitting into a coffee cup as I don't know whether they do or not, only that it was disgusting to look at, at least was for me the time the kid next to me at Foxwoods was doing it.

Probably sounds like I'm squeamish or something but here's the scene. They got these little side tables for your drinks and food as they don't allow drinks on the table there. This table is situated between me and the chewer. So every so often I got to watch him lung one into the cup not to mention the contents of the cup.

Pretty gross.

I once sat next to a guy who was snorting asbestos. That guy was the sh*t.

If I ever make a televised final table I PROMISE to put the biggest dip of Copenhagen in my mouth any of you guys have ever seen. He11, I might even let he juice run down my chin. That would put some people on tilt so bad they would go allin with 23o if I show 'em my AA just to get the he11 away from me.

I can see it now.........Hellmuth goes nuts and won't pick his cards up because of the tobacco juice all over them and just goes allin blind and I call, when the board is dealt he won't touch his cards and nobody else will turn them over so the dealer mucks them and I show my 6 hi bluff to take the pot down and he tells the TV cameras if it wasn't for 1 lucky drip he would have won the tournament.

Seriously though, I dip, and will not hesitate to do so at any cardroom that will allow it. My experience is even the cardrooms that don't will not say a thing if you are not obvious. Hey, you may think it is gross, but it is less gross than having cig smoke blown in your face.

My TV promise is serious too. Dam, now I just gotta get there.

During event #4 (NLHE $500 buy-in) of the 2004 WPO in Tunica I sat next to Tommy Vinas who is a pro out of Houston (he finished 5th in the event). He immediately put in a dip of Skoal and had a dip cup on the table. This was the case for the 4.5 hours I sat next to him.

I'm sure that some guys chew at the table, but they probably don't want to show it on TV? Don't know why. Just watch a baseball game and alot of guys have a big chaw in.

My guess would be if you want to chew in a casino do it discretly. Don't put in a gigantic chew and don't use a clear spitter that is almost full and waiting to be spilled all over the place.

I wish tobacco didn't cause cancer becuase I love Levi Garrett and Redman.

Default Wasn\'t David Williams chewing?

It sure looked like it to me watching the WSOP...

Anyhow, I always chew when I go to the Tropicana. Didn't even know it was banned from most cardrooms.
