2 2-4 NL hands
Trying to figure out the distinction between weak and smart.
2-4 NL on UB. I play 1-2 NL all the time on this site and the 2-4 game seems pretty similar. Anyway... Hand #1: I have just sat down (~$400) and am dealt KK in the CO. UTG+1 (~400) raises to 14, folded to me, I reraise to 45, folded to him, he calls. Pot: 90ish Flop: Q J 9 rainbow He checks, I bet $60, he goes all in for about $275 more. Call or fold? Hand #2 Different table, again just sat down. I pick up AQ in MP3 (~400). Folded to me, I raise to 14, button (~500) cold calls. SB (~450) calls. BB (~200) calls. Pot: 56ish Flop: Q83 rainbow. Checked to me, I bet 35, button calls, blinds fold. Turn is a 9, putting a club flush possibility on the board. Pot: 125ish. I bet 100. He raises me all in for about 250 more. Call or fold? |

Re: 2 2-4 NL hands
I fold both hands.
In hand #1, I think the chances are too high that he has QQ, JJ or 99. He could also have AA or TT. The only hand you would really like to see there is AQ. I fold. |

Re: 2 2-4 NL hands
Hand 1 - I fold.
Hand 2 - more read dependent, but I still fold. Your turn bet tells Villain that you have a hand but he doesn't seem to care. |

Re: 2 2-4 NL hands
Hand 1- Fold. Seems like hes trying to protect a hand which is already better than yours against striaght draws.
Hand 2- I might call depending on my read, considering you just sat down I fold and get my money in at a better point. |
