Mini-step #5 AKs in SB (early) - limp or raise?

This is from level 3 of a mini-step 5. The table has been pretty tight so far, with very few limpers. So in this hand, I am thinking that the limpers likely have medium PPs (maybe 6/6 - J/J). I have only played one hand so far and I'm looking at A/Ks here in the SB. My standard play here is to complete and see the flop, but does anyone raise it here PF to try to get it HU despite positional problems?

If you raise, how much do you make it and what is your plan on a flop that doesn't hit you (say Q-hi rainbow) with one or two PF callers?

If you complete and hit it, how much are you betting with TPTK on a good flop (say something like K/8/3 r)?

I probably push. There is 175 in the middle and you have 780 chips left. Raising and having to play AK out of position on the flop seems unneccesary. Besides people in step tournaments are scared of busting/crippling their stacks early, giving you more FE.

It's a pretty bad idea to "see a flop" in an unraised pot with AK.

I raise to 275 here, and if called, push almost any flop.

yeah - i like the push. i definitely have big FE here and it might also keep people away from my blinds for a bit. Plus, with the dead money in the middle, even if I'm called and facing a flip it's a EV+ push.

I don't know, JT9s, AAA, that kind of thing. It would be rare, though.

If you feel lower pp's are there, then bet as much as gets a call (but best only 1 or maybe 2) as you will be leading out most every flop. Guys with midPPs will be mucking whenever theres multiple overcards (faces), even if they arent yours.
Blinds are 50 here i think? so maybe just bet 150 or 200...something the limp feels gets him "odds" with a so-so hand. You still want AQ calling you right?
But a t300 pot seems about right to bet at the flop. I dont want to be comitted to calling him if he plays back on flop, unless i want to. Bettingn 200 blind on the flop seems ok line. About the best you can make of a OOP hand that has to be played.

Anyone forsee problems doing this?
