Default Re: Worst beat I\'ve witnessed in HL, NL

people keep thinking this is in terms of percentages.

Ya. She was ONLY 95% to win when called all-in. We all have seen 9 to the 99th to the 999th power hands on here where the hero was 99.44 pure to win on the flop. That's not the friggin point.

Here's all I'm sayin:
It was the worst beat I've ever witnessed live for the most amount of money. That's it. That's all. You guys can spout off your "he needed michael johnson and carl lewis to win" until your eyes turn shades of royal green and that won't change my original point.

Your original point is still way overstated. The stakes arent that high, the beat was pretty routine.

I'm dealt 99.

I raise EP.
I'm called by the SB and the bb folds.

Flop is:
Q9J 2tone

I bet, he calls.

Turn is J.

I bet, he raises, I 3bet, he calls.

River is J.

He donks. I curse, and call praying to the lord above to show me his ace high or busted flush draw. Of course, he has runner runner quads and I lose moneys.
