Enough of the insinuation, why the hell would I be joking? Indy [/ QUOTE ] Because surely anyone contemplating going pro would understand that TV hands are presented in a complete vaccuum and are a horrible way of evaluating a player's skill? Because surely anyone contemplating going pro is doing it because they expect to earn an acceptable wage, not because they want to "be on tv?" |

Re: What\'s my next step?
Hi Indiana. I am at a crossroads as well. This is what I am doing...
I am buying a roundtrip ticket to a big American city for a 3 day trip to play poker in the higher limits. The airfare is low cost and so are expenses for a trip like this. You can try it out for a few days and see how you like the life and the poker. Now you can never say to yourself darn I wish I tried it because I know I could beat that 10-20 or 20-40 for 1.5 bb/hr raise on! |

[ QUOTE ]
When I watch the pros on tv I see so many mistakes that I myself would never make. [/ QUOTE ] After quitting your regular job to "go pro", you can supplement your income by coaching other pros who make so many mistakes. |
