Default My Paulson collection ...

... so far consists of ten of these (when they arrive in the post, that is):

... but it's a start, right?

Hello all - new poster here. I've been lurking in the corner for a while though, trying to decide what chips to get. Eventually I decided that I'm going to try and build a collection of Paulsons - ten or twenty at a time - even if it takes me a few years!

I just tried to get 20 of these on eBay, but got outbid:

Oh well. That's exactly the kind of design I like though. I'm not after particularly rare or collectable chips, just cool retro designs that catch my eye. This is going to be a mix'n'match collection, but I figure that so long as I stick to red, green, black and purple chips with denominations on them, it should work!

Anyway, the point of this post is to say that as my collection grows I might want to buy, sell and swap chips ... so if anyone else is collecting Paulsons, let me know!

Rob

Thanks for the link! Although I felt slightly out of my depth when I went over there and saw posts with titles like 'When was the last time you saw a rectangle lunette?' ...

I spent a long time just poking around.

Also, if you like looking at different pictures of chips, http://www.chipguide.com/ has a lot of links... AC, Vegas, California cardrooms, illegals, etc.

Check out the difference between the pic of one of the chips that appeared on eBay (on the left) and my scan of the same chip when it arrived (on the right) ...

Not that I mind pink chips, but I've really got to wise up and do some better research if I'm going to buy any more!

Rob (thinking about designing a pokerchips.com custom set intead now)
