Glendale California
What, if anything, can you tell me about Glendale or the surrounding area that might be of interest? I am a new resident.

Re: Glendale California
Porto's Cuban Bakery in downtown Glendale for lunch or pastries. Crowded as hell on the weekends, though.

Re: Glendale California
30 minutes from the Commerce. Take the 5 headed Santa Anna. 45 minutes from the Bike. Same as Commerce but switch to the 710 Long Beach.

Re: Glendale California
I was born and raised in Glendale. Porto's as reccomended is fantastic. Also, you better get used to Armenian culture. You can start by eating some really good Armenian chicken at Zankou Chicken on Colorado.
There are no bars or clubs or nightlife worth mentioning in Glendale, so if you're looking for that stuff, you'll need to drive to Hollywood or Pasadena. |

Re: Glendale California
<----Pasadena. Zankou is good. Pasadena is much cooler than Glendale. But they do have "the Brand Boulevard of Cars".

Re: Glendale California
I hate shopping malls, but the Glendale Galleria is one that I can tolerate. There's a tailor there that I like, Tailor Town.
There's a Costco in Atwater Village, right between Glendale and Los Feliz. For bars, try the Red Lion in Silverlake, not far from Glendale. |

Re: Glendale California
We went to the Galleria the other day and got some Boba. Man are those things fun to shoot. They're like blowgun paintballs. I need a good tailor. I'll check your guy out. Thanks.
