Call on the flop seems right, but I wouldn't want to take a stab at this one on the river. If you had any piece of the flop you would have raised, so I think most good players would suspect something and call you with ace high here, and nobody's letting go of a crappy pair either.

Just my opinion...

I like it, if you picked the right spot.

I don't know the opponents, or what they think of you, however.

well the thing is two draws hit and SB checked so i assumed he would have bet if he hit a draw. (backdoor draws that is). also that's a horrible board for button to call with A high because any card lower than 7 beats him. my biggest worry is that SB is check-calling because i think button folds here a lot of the time.

i mean i think the flop call is close, but i dont like it. you are basically hoping that the other 2 players are going to check the turn and river for you to take it down unimproved and i wouldnt rely on any bluffing equity when making the call. youre basically calling 8:1 for your 6 outter but your outs could be tainted even though you have implied odds.

Given the way the hand played out I think you're better off savign the bet and hoping the river checks through. If button has you beat he intends on showing it downs (hence the turn check). SB may fold a better hand, but he's also really likely to have a pair or better given the connectedness of the board; if he doesn't have a pair he probably can't beat jack high. He's already shown that he's willing to let the river go unbet, so I'd take him up on that. I don't so much have a problem with you taking a stab at the pot as I think there's a good enough chance it will chcek through that you can save your bet and win with K high.
