Yes it is, they will bluff for 40 chips, congrats, you must have won the sng after winning this huge pot.

I think it is pretty easy to know if your beat here so trying to squeeze a few extra chips isn't the worst thing in the world.

Sets are like gold. There is no point in trying to extract value from jack high hands, you aren't getting much no matter what you do. The idea is to win as much as possible from hands that have showdown value, or draws. You can't do that by waiting until the river in a 60 chip pot.
