Shortstacked, AK lvl 4. 22 PP
Does anyone push this preflop instead?
My bet is made to induce action from weaker hands (although I don't mind taking just the blinds either). 100/200 Tourney Texas Hold'em Game Table (NL) (Tournament 14746511) - Thu Aug 11 16:10:49 EDT 2005 Table Table 13872 (Real Money) -- Seat 5 is the button Total number of players : 5 Seat 2: yabastid (1030) Seat 5: captainsblue (875) Seat 7: FiSHYFiSHeR (1760) Seat 8: RiverOuter (3725) Seat 9: nWirb (610) FiSHYFiSHeR posts small blind (50) RiverOuter posts big blind (100) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to nWirb [ Ac, Kd ] nWirb raises (250) to 250 yabastid folds. captainsblue folds. You can do this with AA-QQ (and maybe JJ), but doing this with AK is sin.

AK is a push hand, not a call a push hand. What value do you have in the paltry chips left after your raise?
