Bonus if initial deposit by inter-account transfer?

If I want to transfer my buddy the initial funds to play on partypoker, how exactly does he get the 20% bonus as a new player?

Pretty sure he has to do the deposit himself.

You can't get a deposit bonus from an interaccount transfer. At least that was my experience about 6 months ago.

You can't do it on Party.

You can on Eurobet.

Thanks everybody. I specified Party cause I don't want him to burn his bridges as far as rakeback if he wants to get into online poker.

You can't ever get rakeback on Party, can you?

If he signs up on Euro or Empire then he can't get rakeback.
