Default I love it when this happens! (PROTECT YOUR HAND!!!)

At some point, the villain should have pushed me out of the hand. When he lost, he left the table.

My PFR wasn't pot-sized, but that's standard for me... (I am changing this occassionally with multiple limpers though, or in good or bad position).

I'm all for making moves, but after he calls my pfr and nearly pot-sized flop bet I'm done with this hand. I like checking the turn here and getting away cheaply. JMO

Woh david: back in your cage! I was comment on your stats because you said you are a LAG and they didn't look LAGish to me at all but now I take it back.

I'd check behind on the turn though.

Firstly, this is the only time out of 160 72o hands that I've tried this. This isn't a standard play for me!!

However, I've had pretty good success at getting single limpers to fold to a raise, as well as at winning with a continuation bet after a PFR. Admittedly, when this happens I've usually got an ace-face, probably suited, and therefore that makes it less likely that someone else has a good hand than when I have 72o.

When I pair up on the flop it's a bonus. I bet to see if I can take it down with likely the best hand, but even TT is going to have a tough time calling me on that flop.

When I bet the turn I'm representing an ace, buddy just calls me figuring that his kicker is no good. If TT stuck around on the flop, he's going to have a tough time calling now.

If the opponent raised me at any time I would have had to fold. He didn't, so I won.

Did you at least say nice hand?

Checking through the turn was great in this hand. Whoever calls you on that flop:
1) Knows that you've got something
2) May be drawing to an OESD, but other than that, not really much else.

"Did you at least say nice hand?"

No. Many don't realize that their hands are available to be seen via the hand history and I don't want them to know. It was more than enough knowing he saw my cards. lol

Good idea.

I'll keep that in mind from now on.

Thanks.
