After 85 hands, about whom you know nothing else. He limps PF from the CO. You raise Ah8s from the SB. Tight BB folds. Flop comes 3sTc2c. You bet, he calls. Turn 5h. Bet, call. River 2h. Check/call or something else?

checkcall is definitely my default line. theres probably some merit to betting better aces here but i dont think you can bet A8.
check-folding is too read dependent and i do it against very few opponents considering the board. what were you considering when you played this hand? |

I really have a hard time playing vs that kind of player. Any flop is dangerous against them :/. I played vs someone like that today, he made 200 BB in 1 1/2 hour. I think I check/call

Yeah, looking at it in print makes it look like a pretty easy check/call. Funny how different it felt actually playing it though. I did check/call but felt dumb as I did so.
