Default Really bad AKo bubble call

Step 5, 5 remain:

Stacks before posting:

UTG: 2594
CO: 2401
Button: 1315
SB: 2405
BB: 1285

blinds are 75/150

UTG folds, CO pushes, button folds, SB has AK, and calls.

I knew that calling here with AKo was bad. When I ran some numbers as to see how bad, I was absolutely blown away. (This may or may not be mostly due to the extra zeros tacked onto everything associated with a step 5.)

A couple ranges:

Pusher has any two cards: call -$72.
Pusher has 66+, ATs+, AJo+: call -$511.

Good god.

Is this a bad call because he only has 4 chips over the SB, so he will be putting his whole stack at risk when their are 2 shorter stacks? Would it be good to call here wiht AA-QQ? or is it just a fold and wait to steal your own pot ?

it's a bad call because any range you can put your opponent on by icm makes it a huuuuugely negative ev call. i didn't check to see what hands were sensible calls against various ranges. but AK ain't it.

It's a fold because there are effectively no dead chips in the pot and you are flipping here so much that a ton of EV gets transferred to the other 3 people.

What is the payout structure on those Step 5's? I'm trying to put those -EV numbers into some sort of perspective.

Also, how much EV does CO gain if everyone folds?

How does it look if you assume a standard SNG payout structure instead?

it's pretty bad i think (i hadn't gotten the 75/150 level yet, so i subbed 100/200) but really, it was very bad. so i'm not thinking it would change that much. i'm honestly not sitting here with powertools open, so i can't answer all of these.
