He's doing something stupid here. Given this is Party $5/10, odds are it's stupid in your favour, so I like the 3-bet. Shame it turned out to be the other kind of stupid.

Funny, before I saw your post on what he had, I was going to suggest a slow-played set of 3s. So, let's track his thinking.

Doesn't raise the JJ PF, because of his position...ok. When the J hit the fop, he checks, thinking to CR? No, we know that's not true because he would've raised the turn.
