Ace High Raise!

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls. Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls. Turn: (4.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero raises, BB folds. Final Pot: 7.25 BB Opponent was playing LAG, on the turn I thought good chance I have the best hand. Is that reasonable? I raised to make him pay for his 6 outer, should I have called instead and try to pick off river bluff? |

Re: Ace High Raise!
in a pot that small, if you think he'll fire again on the river, you're better off doing that.

Re: Ace High Raise!
I think either line is probably ok. I tend to call down here too tho vs a lag. He probably knows you dont have a 6 so he might 3bet which you will not like.
