My goal of life: To win a WSOP bracelet, what's the easiest way?

Ok, say hypothetically, my goal of life is to win a WSOP bracelet. There are a variety of events for me to take part next year but assume that I can only take part in one event.

Which event should I enter to maximize my chances of winning the bracelet? Assume I don't care about the buyin, I play all events equally proficiently and I am male.

Thoughts: I could enter the smallest event (100 participants) but there is a huge element of luck. Perhaps I could a slightly bigger event (120 participants) but has a smaller element of luck.

On the other hand, there's a freeroll WSOP event of journalists or casino staff... perhaps i should consider those...

As far as mathematics are concerned you chances would be best in the event with the least amount of participants.
i.e. 1 out of 50 (1/50) compared to 1 out of 2300 (1/2300).

IMO, if your goal is to win a bracelet, you should look for an event that is:
1) Small
2) Has lots of luck
3) Has relatively straightforward hand reading

This assumes that you are less skilled, or as skilled at best, as the field in any of the WSOP tournaments.
Seems to me then that you should avoid Hi-Lo events because the hand reading is less straightforward (and therefore there is more room for a better player to take advantage of you), and you should avoid Hold-em events because there are simply too many players. That leaves what, 7-card stud, Omaha, and Razz ? Of those, Razz has by far the least players right ? And it seems like the hand reading and odds are the most straight forward right ?

So the conclusion: Play the Razz event every year for the best chance of winning a WSOP bracelet.

I'm under the impression that there's no braclet awarded for the casino employee and media tournaments. I might be wrong on this one, but I believe at least in the case of the media tournament, it's a charity event and not necessarily a "freeroll." I bet that would be a fairly easy field to beat though, at least relatively speaking...I've been an editor on a small magazine for a couple years now and I've been eying up that event ever since I started [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I say 2-7 Draw. I would have said TDL, but they cancelled it for next year [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

2-7 is a 5k buy-in and only had 46 participants. In addition, it is multi-rebuy, so you can take chances and gather an unbelievable chip lead early, if you get lucky, since it is a no-limit event.

Forget about Razz, there were 200 participants last year and no rebuys.
