Playing wise.
I would appreciate some advice here. Please move if this is the wrong forum
I started playing $25 PL last wednesday. Ive been playing a tight aggressive A+ game. A+ being what I am capable of. Ive played for 4 days and cashed out a profit each game. currently Im up £260. Most players are incredibly poor. Ive lost a few stacks with set over set and had a few riverings although overall im able to gain back any loss within the night. 4 days work About 20 hours in total. Thats nothing. I cant judge any long term results from this. although I must admit that its caused a little excitement in me. Is this feasable to win a similar rate each week? It seems that playing a fairly standard game with minimum bluffing works great at these levels. I havent been dealt super cards each hand, ive simply been patient. Ive set myself some strict rules, not to play until after 7.30pm. A list of starting hands. No chasing hands. Only play when im completely focused etc.. Does anyone else employ this strategy?/Make an additional decent pay packet each month? How many stacks should I be prepared to lose each night before I call it quits? Any additional help will be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Playing wise.
Check the FAQ for winrates. You are right in that playing ABC and bluff the minimum will make you money in SSNL.

[/ QUOTE ] I actually think these rules help, especially only playing when you are focused. I often find when I feel rushed, have other things going on, have a limited time to play, etc, that I do not play my A game. It also helps to play during peak hours when there are more casual players around who will be more willing to pay off your good hands. Nice start! |
