Is Phil Ivey really any good at all?
Seemed like we're doing it with every other pro, so I figured it was Ivey's turn.
Seriously though...these posts are ridiculous. You can't tell enough about a players skill level just from a few select hands that TV shows in order to pass judgment. Go watch him play day after day, and then make your judgment. |

You can get some idea of how they play when they write about it, no?

"Go watch him play day after day" And how may I ask do we do that? [/ QUOTE ] exactly...thats the point. You aren't going to really know how good they are, so these posts are foolish. |

Re: Is Phil Ivey really any good at all?
You don't need to watch him day after day to tell he's a superb player. Though I agree these posts that have emerged are stupid.
