Short Stack(PLO8)
Lets see what you guys think about this hand, once again 200 PL high low on party.
I got A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]:10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I am three away from the button, middle position again. One caller before me, I call, guy right after me pots it(11), button calls, original caller calls, I call. Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] First guy checks, I check, raiser checks, button(80) bets 30 into a 45 dollar pot, first guy folds, I call, raiser folds. Turn 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He has 50 left, theres 105 in there, I bet 50 and set him all in, he calls and shows Q/10/X/X for the boat. River is a blank he wins The question is what do you do on that flop? I was thinking my draw was good, but the fact that hearts were out there seriously hurt it. So I should have folded. Also any problems with the turn bet? There was so much out there I figured I might as well set him all in. But I dont know I hated my flop play, I think it sucked pretty badly. Thoughts? |

Re: Short Stack(PLO8)
Got any numbers for the opponent? Since he has so little behind, this may be a spot to lay down a nice hand. I'd also either fold or shove on the flop, because if the board straightens out even more for you, then it's doubtful your opponent is going to pay you off unless you're chopping.

Got any numbers for the opponent? [/ QUOTE ] Nah had nothing on him, except the usual stuff, party poker short stacks are usually terrible, thats about it, not much else. |
