Re: TT set hand vs agression from hell
Given that JJ is the only hand to truly be afraid of, and with the 2nd J falling on the river thereby making JJ that much less likely, I think capping the whole way is appropriate. Villian being overly hyper with AA-QQ or AJ happens enough to for you to keep your foot on the gas for the entire hand. Well played.

Re: TT set hand vs agression from hell
I saw a guy do something similar to this to me in a very similar hand.
He ended up 3-beting me on the river, I capped, he folded Sometimes people get REALLY carried away with bluffs. |

Re: TT set hand vs agression from hell
Yes, he's 29/17...but whats his AGGRO factor?? I usually don't cap PF with TT, but 6 handed and vs. a loose/aggro player like this, go nuts. I don't slow down here either. Its unlikely he has jacks full, while Quad chancand I think your ahead greater than 75% of the time here. My guess is that he has AA and he thinks you have KK. I like.

UTG was a bit of a maniac and I felt UTG+1 may be isolating. I really wanted everyone else to fold (It was 10 handed). This plus UTG+1 LAGGY nature led to the PF cap.
After the turn action I was thinking JJ, thats the only reasonable hand this guy could have. When the 2nd J hit his chances of having JJ went way down so I felt a river cap was appropriate. If unlimited betting I would have called a 5 bet. As soon as I capped the river opponent typed into chat "Dude, I have quads" and turned over JJ. I was just checking out my thought processes. |
