Default Risk or stay?

I'm used to the 11's/22's structure of PartyGaming.

Now I'm moving my money to Stars. The highest I'm used to playing there is 15+1's, turbos. I averaged around a 10% ROI at the 22's and a 20% ROI at the 11's, both over samples of 500. Still on the small side.

Anyways, when I work off the $150 bonus PS is now offering, I'll have ~$900. Highest I have experience in is 22's on PartyGaming.

33 buyins at the 27 turbos, or 56 buyins at the 16 turbos?
I am relatively cluelesss to the difficulty of the games which is why I'm asking. I'm also getting a barometer for how risk averse you guys are.

I think you're good enough that if you play 10-20 $16s you can work out what your likely outcome might be.

Do these for a bit to get settled back in.

If I personally only had ~900$ I would feel fine playing the 27s. But I have played literally thousands of them.

But in fact I often drop down to the 16s after cashouts down to 1000 to just give me some cushion. If I were you, I would play the 16s and see how that goes, then move up when I felt confortable. A bad run at the 27s with less than a grand can really be a confidence killer. Start slow and work up.

Play the 27s, those of us playing the 16s don't want our games to get tougher.

i didn't really give any reasons..

just start at the 15s to figure out how they work (blind structure, etc.)

i generally play tight and push alot near the end. i don't think there is much skill difference between 15 and 25s. maybe subsitute one good player for one donk. that's about it.

I generally agree. Although I do see MANY more repeat customers at the 27s, not that it matters much, but I only say start lower to absorb bad runs better.

I am generally of the "want a large BR" crowd. 50 BIs + for me usually. See Daliman for the opposite point of view.

(he needs 1, 2 when he's feeling frisky)
