before the slew of usual responses come in, ill give you at least one answer you're looking for: "weighing the odds in hold'em poker" by king yao. the shorthanded section isn't long, but its some of the best stuff i've read on the subject in a while. other than that, you'll find little quips in books that are usually outdated and not very helpful. search through this forum and you will find way more info than any book could possibly provide.
