Default Matusows AJ vs flush draw

Can someone who TIVOed this weeks episode tell me the what the relvant info on this hand was (blinds, bet sizes, stack sizes, etc.). I think Matusow's turn check-behind might be worth discussing.

I believe Mike had AK vs the club flush draw.
They didnt say much about the hand except that Mike was all in on the flop and the flush draw called but did not hit.

Mike commented about the guy callin his preflop raise.

4k-8k blinds, don't know stack sizes

Matusow opens UTG+1 for 21k with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and BB calls with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Flop J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Check, Matusow bets 30k, BB c/rs to 80k, Matusow reraises to 190k, BB calls.

Turn J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Check, Matusow checks behind.

River 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. BB bets 165k and Matusow calls.

He wasn't allin on the flop. And he did check behind on the non flush-card turn. I don't think the check was bad or good... i think he may have checked fearing a turned 2-pair flush / monster and didnt want to play a big pot there with tp-tk and just get some value on the river ... it was a pretty sophisticated check, maybe a little weak-tight but everyone plays weak-tight every once in awhile.

edit: i'm pretty sure Mike's 3rd J came on the river

Heh, I figured. Just thought a screengrab was the quickest way to clarify.

I like the way Lane played this. Good call in the BB with 3.5-1 pot odds. The checkraise was nice. By not checkraising allin, it doesn't look as much like a flush draw. Matasow would probably fold if he didn't have a J, an overpair, or a draw. As it was, Matasow had a 39% chance on the flop plsu pot odds.

Thanks, but the screenshot says the pot on the turn is 765K, which appears to disagree with the bets you state above.

on a flop of J27 the guy either has a set or a flush draw. He played it well. The kid isn't going to call a huge bet on the turn paired board with a 5 high flush draw, he will however call or bust Mike with a set. So he checks it to induce a bluff on river. He has to have some doubt as to whether the guy had the set and now a boat, why else call with trips A kicker.

This isn't online poker the kid isn't a total donk. Sure MM's hand is monster on the turn but if he bets big he isn't getting that call from a flush draw on a paired board.
