Default Can Ed Miller\'s Short Stack work at 6max?

I've been buying into 50NL full ring games with about $12.50 and using this system to fairly good results (nothing dramatic either way, but slightly positive).
The question I have is...does anyone dare try this at 6max tables? If you do, how open do you get with starting hands? Do you simply just adjust it to playing middle position hands UTG, or do you open it up more? Or, would you simply not play these since you will be blinded away much too quick?
Reason I ask is that I use this system to clear bonuses. I think it would clearly be much more profitable in that sense if I were able to do it at 6max. But, I am not interested in losing too much to clear the bonuses.
Thanks for any responses.
