Default Placing A Large Bet in Vegas - Question(s)

Sorry for the cross-post, I originally had this in "Sports Events".

Let's say (hypothetically) that I want to bet $100,000 on one game, and that $100,000 is currently sitting in my checking account. I don't live in Vegas, but would plan to place the bet there, and would be able to be there for a few days before / after the game.

What is the best way to go about getting this bet down? I'm assuming that my first step would have to be to wire the money to a casino in Vegas.

From there, what do I do? My main questions:

1. Is there any advantage to spreading the bet between different books (i.e. 4 $25,000 bets)? Not withstanding line differences.

2. If I wire the money to Bellagio, and stroll up to the window, can I put it all down and tell them the money is in the cage?

3. How often will they decline to accept my bet?

4. How much additional paperwork, identification will be required?

5. If I decide to spread it between several casinos, what is the best way to go about moving the money?

6. If I win, are there tax forms over a certain amount?

I may have more questions, but that will get me started.
