Yep. Last day of work today. You'll find me 4+ tabling 15/30 on party, and propping a couple other places.

I just thought you guys would like to know that I have no link to follow to share in my triumphs, defeats, and emotions. You can all thank me later.

And hell, I'll probably put all that sxxx on the zoo anyway.

Network Security- the opposite of hacking. Fortune 50 company. Was the job I was supposed to want out of college.

You wouldn't believe their expectations. I was supposed to come into the office 5 days out of every week, and show up at the ungoldy hour of 10AM.

I didn't really mind it that much. Just making a lot more at poker now. Plus everything is so glacial at a big corporation... if you're a fantastic employee, you get raises at an upper bound of say, 5% per year above the norm. And it's so slow to accomplish anything, with all the politics, turf wars, people treading water til retirement, etc.

Yeah, that would be the number one perk of this job. No corporate BS to put up with. Oh, and the hours kick ass. Again, good luck to you.

I would think the best hours for a poker pro would not 'kick ass'. I would think they kind of suck. Although being your own boss would be great!

I would think the best hours are Friday and Saturday night from 7:00 p.m cst to 3:00 a.m cst. These would be prime hours to spend with the wife, girlfriend, looking for a girlfriend or hanging out with friends. I know poker cuts into my social life!
