NFL Week #2
My Patriots took care of business in the desert vs Arizona. Starting to get a little excited about them as it looks like we finally may have a running game. This was the 1st game since 1997 that the Pats had a 100 yard runner and 100 yard receiver in the same game.
Didn't see the Jets but it looks like they got a potent offense. How are you all feeling about your respective teams at this point in the season? Feel free to embellish. |

Re: NFL Week #2
Seahawks have started 2-0, even thought both games were on the road. They're offense was sluggish though, maybe because Alexander wasn't 100%, however their defense looks good for the second week in a row. I am really looking forward to next week when they crush the 49er's.

Steelers:
Same old story. Defense can stop the run but not the pass. I can't stand Maddox so mayne the injury to his elbow this weekend will start the process of getting the new quarterback in there. I was not happy with the team picking up Staley int he offseason but he has been a pleasant surprise. I guess it's going how I projected. Should end up with about 8 wins. |

Re: NFL Week #2
Seeing the Seahawks win two road games in a row is almost unbelievable.
The game they won at Tampa is a game, in the past, they boot almost every time. It's hard to believe that the Seahawks might actually be good. Not just 10 - 6 good, but deep post season run good. It's early so all real enthusiasm is on hold. |

Re: NFL Week #2
The Bears crushed the Packers!! In the ESPN early morning NFL show (don't know the name) 3 of their 4 pros picked the Packers as their team to win, and some of them mentioned it was a "no brainer".
The Bears made Green Bay look very bad. I liked it. |

It's always nice having a soft schedule. 2-0, headed for 2-14. Go Lions!
