Yeah, the only problem with this post is that the info is dated. The games today are alot tougher then a year ago so you have to bust your ass twice as hard.

8 tabling 20/40-30/60 + surfing 2+2 + chatting with 3-4 people on AIM = me breaking even for 30k hands. Lesson learned. I was wondering why I was "running" so bad. At least there's always rakeback.

It disgusts me how so many people here talk about surfing 2+2 or watching a movie while 8 tabling 2/4.

I just moved into a new place and the computer room is not wired for cable. I've been meaning to run cable in there...eh, maybe I'll wait...there's always the DVR right?

So I moved to Hawaii...I decide to move to LA, but a week before I leave in August I get a call from a guy I worked with who found me a job working on the set of a TV series shot here.

This was the right stuff from a drunk, because I am a starter (28.000 hands) who is rather unhappy about worse results from month to month. SoŽI will work my a... off to become better. Thanks for the advice!

Just what we need, another wannabe screenwriter.

If you want to work in movies, move to Vancouver, not Los Angeles. All American movies are now made in Canada.

i thought this was an excellent post. i'm just starting to get into 2+2 after reading for a while and was wondering if there are lists of interesting strategy posts. For my money they are so much more interesting than the usual "did i overplay my A6s" posts
