Just stack them in seemingly random piles, all of which get slightly larger as you move inwards. It makes you look messy and loose.

The best way is to stack them when you are getting them from the local nits or the guy on tilt.

I've been tooling around with the idea of pyramiding with a 4 sided base instead of 3 sided.
