Default SS utg with low pair

Is backing into the money even an option?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) converter

Normally when I see a post like this I say "you should have found a better spot before this". Well, in this case I was the SB in this hand. He knew who I was. A few hands earlier, I raised from the CO and he typed "You're killing me..." into the chat. I'm raising a wide range there, he definitely should have called if he had a hand that he could type "you're killing me" with.

To answer your question, backing into the money is a "possibility" -- but it's not your best option. You get ITM more often here by pushing, hoping for a fold (or very feasibly a double-up) then you do by hoping against hope that both your short-stacked opponents will bust out before you do.
