Checking the turn is ok but this line is definitely standard. Why the overbet preflop?

i like it. i guess u could bet like 6, but i dont think it makes much difference. if he is super aggro u could c/r the turn ai, though i think your line is perfect...

PF the place was a calling house, and Im not in hte mood for 4 way AA action. The CO was hyper aggro and I thought hed come along or rr me too.

I c/r this turn against most opponents. 95% of people who call that flop with bet if you check; because checking represents QQ/JJ a whole, whole lot. Although, I wouldn't recommend making a large CR because he's probably drawing dead.

This is certainly not true at $25 NL. Passive players will frequently call but not bet if you check. I'd say Villain probably had something like QJ or JT and wanted to take a card off on the flop, against a hand like that you definitely do not want to give a free card by checking.
