I agree w/ everyone that the Astros lost because of not being able to drive in that final run in the top of the 9th and giving up the homer in the bottom of the 9th, as well as Biggio's error and some other poor fielding allowing extra runs for the Sox. Not to mention missing some other socring opportunities. The bad call hurt us, but yes, good chance he walks next pitch anyway.

However, wrt the call itself, I think it was pretty easy. As I said in my initial post, as soon as the pitch got to the plate, I was like WTF what a crappy pitch and walk, then as soon as it hit his bat I immediately knew we got very lucky. I have played and watched plenty of baseball games and the way that came off the bat, it just seemed very obviously fouled off to me. I agree that many times that call is a very tough one, just didn't think that it was that difficult this time.

But, as I said above, Astros had their chances to play well and win the game.

What do yall think about MLB making them keep the roof open?

Complete BS, imo. Especially if the rules someone quoted earlier are actually current MLB rules. If that's the case, it's utterly ridiculous.

I think the Astros will pull this one out, but Game 4 will be a real challenge. That's why I think Game 2 was so critical. However, these Astros have fought hard all season, so I don't expect them to roll over now.

LET'S GO AS-TROS!

Even though I hate the Astros, I agree that its bullshit. I guess there is a precedent for it, as another poster stated, but its still a "wrong" decision.

I haven't been watching any pregame. Have any of the talking heads given a reason for it other than blimp shots?

Well that means game three's in the bag. Thank you Bud Selig. I heard that for game four he's going to make the Astros infield play with one arm tied behind their backs.

Buck couldn't make it any more obvious that he doesn't give a sh** about this series.

The guy sounds like he's at the Dentist. What a f***in f**got.

Same could be said for you. Remember back on Sunday when you gave up on your team?
