Default 10/20 JJ, limp/reraised

10/20 on party, i have around 1800, all in hand have around 2k

2nd orbit at table, no one out of line

utg limps, i make it 85 w/ JJ, button calls, bb calls, utg makes it 250, everyone calls

should i dump there? or is it safe enough to play for a set if you think 1 or 2 of the others will call?

I call whether I think the others will call or not.

Though the amount of callers is relevant, UTGs Limp RR standards are important here as is his propensity to go broke with 1 pair. This is surely an "it depends" situation.

i'm fairly new to the 10/20 game. whats a typical players range here? aa/kk? or is it broader. basically just playing for set? fold to a bet on a flop like 853r?

its only 165 more to you, or a little more than 9% of your stack. its pretty close, but his hand looks pretty transparent so if you hit a set you're likely to double up. i call and play for a set.

Call for sure, try and hit a set. Although, if rags come off, I would probably test him with a raise on the flop since the stacks are deep.

stacks aren't really that deep, since the pot is 1k going to the flop and we have like 1.6-1.8k after the PFR. so a raise will usually have to be all-in
