Re: WOW, cardplayer gives credit to a 2+2 book
Hi Bob:
It's our experience that Card Player has virtually no impact on our poker book sales. Thanks for your support. Best wishes, Mason |

[/ QUOTE ] So when a major website/magazine diverts keen poker players (i.e. players looking for which book to buy) away from your books (which is what they pretty much did by excluding any 2+2 titles in their best book poll) this has no impact on your sales? |

Re: WOW, cardplayer gives credit to a 2+2 book
I'm glad that you haven't found much/any relation to their 2+2 ignoring and your sales.
I was obviously just referring to how worthwhile the actual content might be though...and to not include 2+2 books is just further evidence of how poor the overall content is in that mag. They give it away for free at the casinos in Tunica where I occasionally play so I pick up a copy. Otherwise I wouldn't read it at all (I almost never go on their website to read any articles even though it's obviously quite easy to do so). Even with little impact on 2+2 sales...I'm glad there are at least a few of my opponents out there who DO read this magazine and try to incorporate the sometimes VERY weird/incorrect strategies into their play. (just like I'm glad Hellmuth's book was selling so well for awhile) |
