Hiatus Hand #3: Big draw with Axs in the BB
Still very early. Opponent seemed decent on the aggressive side (I wouldn't say solid because he miniraised preflop into a bunch of limpers, though I would say decent), but hard to tell with less than 15 hands.
I'll post my thoughts on this hand later. I think the most interesting street is the flop though I'm sure I'll get blasted for the river call. After the raise from button, just push. What kind of flop did you expect to have with A4s that could have been better than this one, except all clubs or 235?

Re: Hiatus Hand #3: Big draw with Axs in the BB
sb could have aa/kk/tt or ktc
if he has pp, his raise on flop was too low with that many people in the pot...he was giving late position odds to call flush draw if a few others called he then bet when the ace came out, but only 1/9 the pot, so any flush draw has the odds there...so could be ktc cause he's giving himself odds and finding out cheaply if someone has an ace... on the river, he doesn't hit his flush, but he has 2 pair, so he pushes he could also have had kk/tt and just didn't know that his weak bets were giving odds for flush draws |

so could be ktc [/ QUOTE ] I better stop playing on Stars then if they have decks that have two tens of clubs in them. |

lol
oops well he could have kx clubs and just betting to give himself odds for flush draw or he could have tt so has trips and just doesn't know how much to bet to not give flush draws odds...so instead of raising enough to stop flush draws, he just waits until river to push when no club comes out...i like kk or aa too |

What about likely hands that I beat? FWIW I think this is a really unusual way to play AA & TT (and AA is very unlikely since I have an ace). And I'm beating Kx clubs on the river. |

Re: Hiatus Hand #3: Big draw with Axs in the BB
no, i'm just trying to figure out what he could have that caused him to play the way he did
i'm a noob tho, and not good at reading hands...and his bets that gave odds for flushes are confusing...what caused him to push on river? did he trip up kings or did he already have aa or trip 10s and was just scared of flush? what ranges do u put him on, and why? i'm just trying to get experience so sparking discussion on what he could have |

Re: Hiatus Hand #3: Big draw with Axs in the BB
SB makes a donk bet, you call a donk bet, Button doesn't need much to raise here. Now SB gets the perfect chance to raise his monster, but calls. I'm pushing this 100% of the time here.

Yeah, you have to push the flop. At a decent buyin at Party, I'd also feel good about folding the river, but that one's up to you in a $5.
