Default Minh Ly

Final table of the WSOP Shorthanded tournament. Top 20 of the main event out of a field of 5600. Just won the Doyle Brunson Poker Classic. Big time cash game player.

Where do you rate this guy as a no limit hold'em player?

Sure you can't understand him and he doesn't have the personality we really look for, but I think you can make the argument that he is one of the top 10-15 no limit hold'em players in the world right now.

this isn't even a discussion. this is like asking if phil ivey is good.

minh plays and wins at the biggest stakes there are. he's just now starting to make a name in tournaments.

Enough of the sarcasm, Cosmo. We can agree he's good but is he elite? With these results I think he needs his name up there with the greats in the game, which is something he doesn't get.

with what results.. 3 tournaments? dude, there's way more luck in tournament poker than you'll ever realize.

that said, obviously the guy is one of the best poker players in the world, but not because of anything you posted.

I'm just saying that these tournaments show what people have been missing. Obviously he's had tons of success in poker and these three tournaments will show how tough of a player he is.
