It's a pretty big risk someone has a higher flushdraw but I probably call anyway, you might win with an 8 or a 9 and you have some backdoor straight possibilities.

I won the hand (through a rather unconventional route), and upon seeing my opponents hand, was pleased (or at least satisfied) with the route I took, but thought it certainly was a hand that could be discussed. The most interesting part of the hand, in my opinion, is the flop 3-bet.

I'll check out the other hand too if i can find it, i'm usually a fan of playing big draws or pair+draws quite strongly.

thought it was similar in the stack sizes and betting, but i think i was thinking of the flush+OES draw flop from earlier
