Turn semi-bluff raise, bad spot?
Bad spot for a semi-bluff raise?! (Villain's 27/10/0.8 over only 40 hands).

What do you think villain thinks you have?

Re: Turn semi-bluff raise, bad spot?
What's this guy raising but not capping with preflop? AQ, KQ, TT, JJ maybe?
Only 40 hands, but it looks like he kinda shuts down postflop if he misses. So given his continued aggression, it's hard for me to believe he won't have a hand strong enough to at least call your semi-bluff (I'm guessing AQ or KQ). So maybe you just get a free showdown. So if he calls the turn, but you miss the river, will you bet if he checks? I think I'd just call the turn and pop him on the river if I improve. |

Re: Turn semi-bluff raise, bad spot?
Yeah, I think I agree with you. AQ, KQ, TT, JJ are very likely hands. This was probably a bad spot for a semi-bluff. If called on the turn, I was intending to check behind on the river.
