Neteller debit card and ATM

I have a neteller debitcard - im european. Im going to the states next week and would like to cash some money out from my neteller.
Have I got this right:
I pay 2$ fee to transfer max 1000$ from neteller to debitcard.
I pay 1.5$ to cashout from an ATM
Now the questions:
1) Does ATM have a max limit per transaction? Are that limit different from machine to machine? And if so - what are the maximum limit at the highest machines?
2) Does ATM have a DAILY limit - or can I cash out as many times I like during one day?

1) Depends on what ATM you are using. Bank of America didn't have any cap on what I could withdrawl.
2) I don't think so. It has to do with your bank and the Neteller card - I can withdraw as much as I have in it. Only problem is getting the money in there when you can only transfer 1k a day.

Indeed - the biggest problem is to load it max - 1000 a day - why do they have that small limit? Irritating [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

The daily limit (either imposed by the MAestro or Star system) is $2200 .

I'm currently in the same situation as JayLeno. I believe i remember reading some old post about types of ATM's to avoid, something about them eating your debit card. Am i delirious, or is there something about it?

Sorry for the slight thread hijack, but how long did it take you guys to get your card in the mail? It's probably been about a month since my application was approved.

Are you talking about transferring the $1000 from neteller to your normal debit card, or they charge you that to transfer it to the neteller debit card itself? Seems shady.

I also think there is in fact a distinction between ATM cards, debit cards, and ATM/debit cards. I have an ATM/Debit Card for a major bank here in the states, and it lets me withdraw virtually any amount under a thousand. (I've never tried to withdraw 2,000+) If you're talking about higher amounts than that, I would just cash a check at a bank.
