It boggles my mind how ESPN has made him one of their favorite sons. As far as I know, he has never had a win of any significance and all he does is create cheesy marketing ideas like "the Crew".

I think it would be far more interesting to the general public if they dug into the whole downfall of his online poker room. In fact, I would not be surprised if someone like 60 minutes picked up the story again, after the whole Party Poker Skin / Affiliate mess. I hope there are not any more "runs on the bank" with these other sites.

Dutch is either giving ESPN all you can have bj's...or ESPN is in love with goddamn Dutch. For a guy who has no significant wins..and plays like low NL games, I don't think he deserves this kind of coverage.

He is lucky he started up the "CREW" and that Fischman wins tournies. He's on ESPN all the GODDAMN time...he was even on during the Ro Sham Bo tournament. Then his damn brother gets involves and you're like good lord.

I mean he does seem easy to market...young, "genius", and charismatic. But he's not backing up all this fame.

I think being a professional poker player is a very very poor chioice for someone suffering from manic depression.

He actually as a personality and I'd rather watch him on tv than some hardcore grinder with no social skills.

bingo. People still dont get the concept of television ratings. A young charismatic player with an interesting/disturbing back story. Not to mention he had a graet run 2 years ago and had a pretty good run this year.

While he isnt a top tier player yet, he does have plenty of skill and plays good poker.
