Default Getting a MHNL Moderator - ref: is this forum going to hell?

In an effort to make MHNL the learning resource that it once was and is supposed to be, I think it's obvious that a moderator of some sort is essential; someone who will use their discretion as an experienced poster to help clean up the forum.

So.....I'm not exactly sure how OOT and other forums selected specific individuals, but I think we should just use this thread to brainstorm/nominate a few individuals who would be qualified. Afterwards, if they agree, we could email mat or chuck or whoever and set this up. A few sticky's referencing threads/rules etc (a la internet forum) probably couldn't hurt either.

Thoughts/Comments/Nominations?

No way he does it, no reason for him.

Off the top of my head I nominate: FSU, ML4L, turnip, flynn, diablo, though I doubt any of them would want to do it...

turnip, ml4l, 1800, etc.

I'd love to do it, but given recent events, I don't think I have much of a chance.

of course none of the above will do it either.

Realistically that's not likley to happen, what would be useful is to split the forum again. Most of the current pissing matches have come from people who are giving appropriate advice from their 1/2 or 2/4 games on 10/20 and 25/50 and vice versa not really adjusting for the differences in opponent level's aggression and ability to make sophisticated plays.

Making a seperate mid level forum for 1/2, 2/4 and 3/6 games vs 10/20 and up would go a long, long way toward keeping the peace, without making undue burdens of time on the high limit veterans who have already been generous with their time here.

The NL forum needs a micro, small, mid and high forum. I've said this for quite some time. It really needs to be implimented.
