you're going to need some reads here on the SB. That said, you probably should have bet a little more on the turn. He's got odds to call w/ a flush draw from your turn bet. I'd probably of fired at least 50 on the turn.

That said, it looks like he might have gotten there and was afraid you wouldn't bet again due to your small turn bet.

Thats a pretty small bet to call considering how big the pot is, I would just bite the bullet and pay him off.

I don't think that he has a flush draw here. There are a few reasons for this:

I've got the K of diamonds. For him to have a flush draw he'd have to have Ax [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and I don't see him calling nearly a pot sized bet with ace high and a runner runner flush draw.

Given how quickly he called my bet on the flop on a relativley uncoordinated board, I gave him credit for a king (which may or may not have a higher kicker than mine).

I'd feel better about getting away from the hand on the turn had he raised me after betting 32 than betting 50...I don't want the pot to get too big.

Alright, uncle. I agree that it's an easy call on the river. However, why is everyone getting so up in arms about my bet on the turn. If an unknown player smooth calls on that flop when you make a big bet, wouldn't you give them credit for something that beats KQ? I'd rather proceed with caution than just firing out huge bets with a mediocre holding.

isn't a quick call usually drawing? He could have QJ or a Kx. What everyone else said...

Change the turn bet to something closer to $50.

Call that river blocking bet.
